Dr Valerie Lavoie is a certified family physician with years of practice in the field of paediatrics. She has completed her bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy at McGill University. While attending medical school at the University of Montreal, she was practicing physiotherapy at both the Montreal Children’s Hospital and Ste-Justine Hospital. Her interest for paediatrics has been present from the very start of her medical career. She is a certified member of both the Canadian Paediatric Society and the CADDRA which aligns with her strong interest in ADHD. She has written many articles for magazines and collaborated to the book « Quand mon ado dérape » in 2025. Proud mother of two wonderful daughters, you can catch her running along the canal, skiing down the slopes or exploring the globe! Originally from Quebec City, she lived in Scotland for a while so is fully bilingual!
